01 / PRIVACY
Privacy, in
plain language.
Smithereens Group is an independent venture in development. This website introduces its direction and provides an enquiry form when the service is available.
Your enquiry
For a general enquiry, we request your name, email address, phone country or region, phone number and message so we can respond and, where useful, arrange a callback. A privacy request needs only an email address and message.
When the service is enabled, submissions pass through our website hosting service, are saved in a private Supabase enquiry database hosted in the United States, and pass through Brevo to our business inbox. The form shows when online enquiries are unavailable. An unavailable form cannot send your details; it does not secretly queue them for later.
We use correspondence for the enquiry and necessary follow-up or recordkeeping. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. Please leave out passwords, payment details and sensitive personal information.
The private enquiry database stores the contact details and message needed for your request, a reference, timestamps, this notice’s version and delivery state. Privacy requests store only the email address and message, with the reference and operational records. We retain database records for enquiry follow-up and recordkeeping without an automatic deletion schedule; cleanup requires an owner review. You can request access, correction or deletion through the Privacy request option below. Our business inbox, email-delivery records, backups and infrastructure copies have separate lifecycles, so a database cleanup does not automatically remove every copy.
Security and delivery records
Separate, limited request references, protected fingerprints, counters and delivery states help prevent duplicate submissions and misuse. These security records do not contain the enquiry text, your contact details or raw IP address. They are separate from the private enquiry database described above.
Security records have a 24-hour logical expiry. Bounded cleanup takes place when the service handles activity; this is not a promise that every stored copy or infrastructure backup disappears at that instant.
The website does not put your enquiry in browser storage or routine application logs. Hosting and email services process information to provide and secure these features. The business inbox and delivery services may retain correspondence or delivery records; we do not promise automatic inbox deletion on a fixed schedule.
Device choices
Necessary device storage remembers your privacy choices for up to 180 days. Remembering whether you prefer still artwork or the 3D view is optional and off unless you choose it. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is respected.
No analytics or advertising trackers, audience-upload tools or marketing subscription are active. Declining optional preferences does not remove the company content or prevent an available enquiry form from working.
On the home page, Use necessary only turns optional storage off. Save selected choices saves the choices actually shown. You can change them through Cookie settings in the home-page footer. If this browser cannot save a choice, the current visit can still use it.
This information page does not run scripts or save device preferences. The home page needs JavaScript to display and save its choice controls.
Questions about your information
For questions about access, correction, deletion or retention, choose Privacy request on the enquiry form. Check its availability message before entering details. If the service is unavailable, it cannot accept a request through the website at that time.
This notice describes the website’s enquiry service and must be reviewed before further processors, customer-data uses, marketing programmes or tracking tools are activated. It is not a claim of certified or worldwide legal compliance.
02 / ACCESSIBILITY
Room for
everyone.
The website is designed for responsive reading, keyboard access, visible focus and native controls. Core company information and this information page can be read without playing an animation.
Motion and media
The home-page opening respects your device’s reduced-motion preference. Its Display settings let you pause, replay or choose still artwork. The silent visual loop has separate, discreet Playback settings and a written story. An optional company film plays with narration only after an explicit choice. It provides English captions, a written transcript and inline playback controls. Audio pauses when you leave its view or hide the page, and waits for you to resume it. If 3D is unavailable, still artwork is provided.
Optional artwork preferences are remembered only if you choose to save them. You can use your browser’s zoom and text controls, and the layout adapts to different screen sizes.
Reading and navigation
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and controls. A skip link moves directly to the main information. The home-page mobile menu and dialogs have labelled controls; Escape closes them. Expandable sections use native disclosure controls.
This page has no scripts, animated scenes or enquiry fields. Its headings, links and privacy and accessibility sections remain available with JavaScript disabled. The home-page enquiry form needs JavaScript to validate details, check service availability and send a request.
Form support and feedback
The enquiry form uses labelled fields, inline errors and an error summary. If something gets in your way, describe the issue through the enquiry form when the service is available. Check its status before entering information; it cannot send while unavailable.
These are implemented features and design goals, not an independently certified accessibility audit or a guarantee of compatibility with every device and assistive technology.
